A Pregnant women raped by 6 gang men
A pregnant woman identified as Margaret was reported to have been raped by yet to be identified 6-man armed gang on the farm in Nasarawa State.
According to Nasarawa Mirror, the incident occurred on Friday, July 12, 2024, in Kadiri, Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, and has left many residents in outrage fear.
Narrating her experience, the victim said she was working with her husband on the farm when the gang suspected to be Militia appeared.
On sighting them they both took to their heels, but due to her condition, she couldn’t run so fast to escape nd fell on the ground.
The armed men took turns to rape her until she was left bleeding nd unconscious before they abandoned her.
she was later rushed to the hospital for medical attention after the villagers located her.
The incident however heightened tension in the community with many concerns raised over the safety of farmers in the face of repeated attack and assault.
The community whose population re predominantly farmers have appealed to the government to swiftly intervene and ensure that justice is served for the innocent victims
