Scholarships for MSc Energy Engineering Management
Scholarships will be awarded in two rounds. You must have an offer for the program by the following deadlines in order to be eligible for a scholarship for each round:
First round: submit an offer by Monday, March 4, 2024
Stage Two: submit an offer by Monday, June 3, 2024.
You must send in your completed application and any supporting materials no later than two weeks prior to the offer deadlines in order for it to be completely assessed by the aforementioned dates.
The following eligibility requirements will determine whether program offer holders are eligible for these scholarships:
possess a strong academic background
have the ability to enhance and add to the MSc Energy Engineering Management class’s varied academic and cultural profile.
can demonstrate to us how they might develop into a model future alumni representative who gives back to Durham University, its student organizations, and the communities it serves.
Conditions & Terms
In order to be eligible for a Durham University Business School Masters Scholarship (which includes tuition cost savings) for enrollment in September 2024, candidates must:
By the deadlines mentioned, complete the relevant program application process in its entirety and receive a conditional offer.
be prepared to begin their program in the academic year 2024–2025.
Be prepared to assist and take part in the School’s marketing and communication initiatives.
In addition to participating in and attending Open Events, Webinars, and serving as a class representative, these may also involve testimonials and public relations opportunities.
You must be fully self-sufficient to qualify for this tuition cost reduction. Applicants will not be eligible for a scholarship if their company, a private provider, or a government agency covers the costs. A scholarship offer is void if external support is not disclosed.
To be aware of:
Scholarship covers the typical program completion timelines.
Scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred. Only recipients of scholarships may use them during the academic year in which they were granted.
Scholarships that are available in the year of admission will be given consideration to those who opt to postpone entry. A scholarship offer for the next year of enrollment is not guaranteed if it is accepted prior to deferral.
Notification of scholarship decisions will only be sent to the selected candidates.
All scholarship choices are made at the school’s discretion and are final.
In the event that a spot on the program is not filled, there is no monetary alternative available.
Retraction or Intermission of Research
Removal
All upcoming scholarship payments will be forfeited for scholars who leave the university or their scholarship obligations.
Scholarship payments that have already been made will be refunded pro rata if you withdraw at any time during the teaching term. The Faculty Executive Dean may reconsider this choice in extraordinary cases and grant the student permission to keep any overpayments.
Pause on Research
Future scholarship payments will be terminated for scholars who stop their academic work or scholarship obligations.
Any scholarship payments that have already been made will be refunded pro rata if you decide to suspend during the teaching term. The Faculty Executive Dean may reconsider this choice in extraordinary cases and grant the student permission to keep any overpayments.
The outstanding annual balance must be paid when the student’s academic and scholarship obligations are resumed.
