During the protests in Abuja, Tinubu and Wike met at Aso Rock.
President Bola Tinubu met with Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on Thursday in the Presidential Villa in Abuja, as angry Nigerians launched a nationwide protest under the hashtag #EndBadGovernance.
Around 5:00 p.m., Wike arrived at the State House in Abuja in a Prado SUV to meet with President Tinubu. Wike was wearing a white suit.
Criminals were having a field day in several places as well, harassing and extorting drivers and bystanders, particularly along the Kubwa highway axis.
The miscreants were yelling and solely speaking Hausa as they sporadically chorused “Bamuyi.”
The hooligans who were blocking the route and yelling that there was famine in the land had to be removed from the road by the military.
Because of their fear of the unknown, some residents of the Federal Capital Territory, including civil servants, refused to leave their homes and go to work.
