The prestigious French Embassy ScholarshipFrance Excellence 2025/2026 is now open for applications! This scholarship offers talented individuals the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at a top French university during the 2025/2026 academic year. Jointly funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, this program is managed by the French Embassy in Nigeria in partnership with Campus France Nigeria.

Fields of Study

The scholarship focuses on management programs. Applicants must:

  • Apply via Études en France to a public university.
  • Ensure tuition fees do not exceed €4,000 annually.

Note: Master’s programs in France typically span two years (M1 + M2). If admitted to the first year (M1), the scholarship covers both years. For second-year admissions (M2), it covers a single academic year.

  • A monthly stipend for living expenses.

However, tuition and registration fees are excluded and must be covered by the recipients.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be Nigerian citizens residing in Nigeria.
  • Be under 30 years old.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Management.
  • Have completed National Service (NYSC).
  • Demonstrate academic excellence, with preference given to First Class or Second Class Upper graduates.
  • Commit fully to studying in France for the 2025/2026 academic year (starting September/October 2025).
  • Note: French language proficiency is not required.

  • A valid international passport data page (minimum validity of two years).
  • A detailed CV highlighting academic and professional accomplishments.
  • A compelling personal statement.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate.
  • Undergraduate transcript (consolidated into one or two documents).
  • NYSC certificate.
  • A recommendation letter from your university (optional but highly recommended).
