Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this funding opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be affiliated with a non-profit academic or research institution.
• Open to postdoctoral researchers, clinical fellows, and early-to-mid career investigators with less than 10 years of faculty experience.
• Both U.S. and international researchers are encouraged to apply, regardless of residency or citizenship status.
• Applicants cannot apply if they have received LCRF funding in the past four years.
• Candidates may only apply for one LCRF grant per cycle.
• Senior investigators with over 10 years of experience are generally not eligible, but exceptions may be considered if their expertise lies outside lung cancer research.
• Those seeking eligibility exceptions must contact the LCRF Grants Office at least one week before the deadline for consideration.

Application Process

The application process involves two steps:

1. Letter of Intent (LOI): Interested applicants must first submit a Letter of Intent (LOI).
2. Full Proposal: Only applicants with favorable LOI reviews will be invited to submit a full proposal.

Each applicant may only apply for one LCRF grant per funding cycle.
