Academic Requirements

  • If the candidate has not achieved a first-class undergraduate degree, they must hold (or be on track to achieve) a distinction in a standalone Master’s degree.
  • Candidates with an integrated Master’s degree must achieve a first-class classification or equivalent.

Application Process

To be considered for the Imperial President’s PhD Scholarships 2025, applicants must:

  1. Secure a PhD supervisor within an academic department at Imperial College London before applying.
  2. Submit an application for admission to Imperial via the online admissions portal. No separate scholarship application form is required; candidates will be nominated based on academic excellence and research potential.
  3. Apply by 23:59 (UK time) on March 10, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of May 2025.
