The Government of Canada is now accepting applications for the Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program (2024/2025). Program Goals

The Anti-Racism Call for Proposals
The program prioritizes projects that combat systemic racism within Canadian arts, culture, heritage sectors, and creative industries. It focuses on:
- Addressing workplace inequities faced by Indigenous Peoples, Black communities, and racialized or religious minority groups.
- Incorporating intersectional approaches to foster inclusivity in Canada’s cultural and heritage spaces.
Funding Details
Each project is eligible for a maximum of $1,000,000, though most awards will average around $300,000 due to high demand.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations or groups applying for funding must be one of the following:
- Canadian not-for-profit organizations, associations, or unincorporated groups.
- Non-federal public institutions like schools, colleges, or universities.
- Indigenous governments, band councils, or tribal councils.
- Provincial, territorial, regional, or municipal governments.
Application Requirements
Your application package must include:
- Completed Application Form for the Projects funding component (Anti-Racism Call).
- Declaration/Attestation: A signed statement confirming the accuracy of your submission.
- Balanced Budget: Use the program’s budget template to avoid surplus or deficit.
- Financial Statements: Most recent, audited if possible.
- Incorporation Documents: Includes letters patent, certificate of continuance, and bylaws (if applicable).
- Unincorporated Groups: Provide articles of association, Terms of Reference, and the Unincorporated Applicant Acceptance of Liability form.
- Board of Directors List: For incorporated applicants.
