Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Be a citizen of an African country.
2. Hold international student status with a valid study permit for Canada.
3. Be enrolled full-time in an academic program at Carleton University.
4. Maintain good academic standing while progressing from one year to the next in their studies.
5. Demonstrate financial need (preference will be given to students in financial need).

Awarding Process

• Undergraduate Students: Scholarships will be administered by the Director of Undergraduate Awards and Financial Aid.
• Graduate Students: Scholarships will be administered by the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies.
