About Arrell Food Institute
Addressing some of the most significant issues facing the global food system is the main goal of the Arrell Food Institute. The institute, which is based at the University of Guelph in Canada, brings together scholars, students, and community leaders to investigate solutions that give food priority in social, economic, and policy choices.
Three main themes of their work includes:
Enhancing community food security, Changing agricultural practices, and Enhancing the larger food network.
The Arrell Global Food Innovation Awards are presented annually by the Arrell Food Institute to recognize exceptional accomplishments. These honors honor people and institutions that are significantly advancing the field of food innovation. One of these honors focuses on initiatives that have improved food security and nutrition.
