FG returns 190 Nigerian nationals from the UAE
A total of 190 Nigerians have been returned by the Federal Government from the United Arab Emirates.
A joint team of government officials led by NEMA received the returnees when they arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 5:57 AM on Tuesday,
according to a statement issued by the National Emergency Management Agency and signed by its Director General, Director, North Central Zone, Bashir Garga.
According to NEMA, the returnees have been subjected to documentation and profiling by pertinent agencies, and they have received education on the significance of acting responsibly and with decorum when they return to Nigeria.
According to the statement, “190 Nigerians who were in the United Arab Emirates were repatriated by the Federal Government”. A joint team of federal officials led by the National Emergency Management Agency welcomed the returnees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 05:57.
“The returnees were sensitized to behave with decorum and responsibility upon their return to Nigeria, and the necessary agencies profiled and documented them.
The federal government of Nigeria exhorts all of its citizens, no matter where they may be, to follow the core principles of decency, integrity, patriotism, and the rule of law as model citizens of their nation.
The reason why they were returned is still unknown.
Recall that the Federal government returned a total of 542 people from the United Arab Emirates home in October.
