The Groundswell Annual Grant 2025 is now accepting applications! This initiative is dedicated to strengthening grassroots organizations that are actively working to challenge oppressive political, social, and economic structures. Groundswell provides financial support to groups that are often overlooked by traditional funding sources due to the nature of their work.
This year, special encouragement is given to organizations engaged in Palestinian solidarity and liberation efforts. Funding will be allocated to projects that aim to transform society by addressing and dismantling systemic injustices.

- Grants of up to $10,000 are available for eligible organizations.
Who Can Apply?
The grant is open to Canadian non-profits and grassroots organizations. However, certain applicants and entities are not typically funded, including:
- Legal defense expenses
- Organizations receiving funding from settler government agencies
- Extractive industries or energy corporations
- Banks
- Individual applicants
