How to Apply for Immigration, Fire Service recruitment
According to the Federal Government, the Federal Fire Service and the Nigeria Immigration Service will start accepting applications in August.
In a statement released on Sunday in Abuja, Ja’afaru Ahmed, the secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services disclosed that the hiring process, which was scheduled to conclude on June 15, 2024, will now be completed by the Board before the end of September.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board would like to notify the public that it will begin the next phase of the hiring process in August and will wrap it up by the end of September 2024.
Ahmed declared that all candidates who made the short list would receive proper notice via their contact information on the next step of the hiring process.
However, the Secretary expressed regret for not being able to finish the exercise as originally planned because of personnel audits conducted by Services under the Board.
“The board would like to express its regret for not being able to finish the process by June 15, 2024, as previously planned,” he continued.
“This is because the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps underwent a statewide manpower audit exercise that had just wrapped up.
“All candidates who have been shortlisted will receive proper notification of the next step via their phone numbers and email addresses.”
