Job Description:
The Storekeeper Trainee will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth inventory operations within the organization. The primary responsibilities include:
- Receiving and Storing Goods: Accepting deliveries, organizing stock, and maintaining proper storage procedures.
- Maintaining Stock Rotation: Ensuring timely rotation of goods to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.
- Fulfilling Requisitions: Handling and delivering inventory requests, including products, equipment, and uniforms.
- Organizing Workspaces: Decanting, palletizing, and retrieving items for efficient workflow.
Key Requirements:
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background:
- Minimum qualification: Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or West African Examinations Council (WAEC) certificate.
- Maximum qualification: Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
- Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in retail or store management is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
