Aim of the NPI
The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority’s (NSIA) program, the NSIA Prize for Innovation (NPI), was established to encourage forward-thinking businesspeople and innovators who are developing solutions that have the potential to yield substantial social and financial benefits.
The program, which focuses on impact-driven, early-stage businesses, provides strategic mentorship in addition to funding to help promising concepts develop into game-changing businesses.
NSIA hopes to stimulate innovation through the NPI in order to increase productivity, fortify important industries, and bring about long-term development in Nigeria and throughout Africa.
NSIA has teamed up with the Presidential Initiative for Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC) for its third edition (NPI 3.0).
The goal of this partnership is to speed up medical advancements that have the potential to transform Nigeria’s healthcare system and have a significant local impact.
NPI is a platform that supports local talent and helps realize ambitious ideas, so it’s much more than just a competition. NPI is here to help you scale, whether you’re developing a technology to address urgent local issues or reviewing how industries function.
By assisting Nigerian innovators at the most crucial and early phases of their careers, the program aims to boost economic growth, increase national productivity, and create long-lasting jobs.
The NSIA Prize for Innovation is your opportunity if you’re developing a solution that changes people’s lives, industries, or addresses pressing issues. You’ll have the resources to develop your startup, increase your influence, and become a key player in the next wave of African innovation with access to capital, knowledgeable mentorship, and a strong support system.
