Slow Food Negroni Week Fund: Education Scholarships 2025 – Applications Close May 4, 2025

The Slow Food Negroni Week Fund has officially launched its 2025 call for applications, offering a valuable opportunity for emerging professionals in the global hospitality industry. The initiative is specifically designed to support individuals with limited access to high-quality training, networking platforms, and educational resources—especially those aiming to deepen their understanding of sustainability within the beverage sector.

Application Deadline: May 4, 2025

Overview and Purpose

The scholarship program is tailored to address a consistent gap within the beverage and hospitality industries: the lack of accessible professional development opportunities for less-connected and underrepresented individuals. Many professionals in this field face financial, geographic, or structural barriers that limit their ability to attend international events or receive industry-standard training.

By investing in education and cross-cultural exposure, the scholarship aims to elevate participants’ careers while promoting the core principles of Slow Food: good, clean, and fair food and beverage for all. The program not only supports skill development but also fosters direct engagement with producers, cultivates a deeper understanding of beverage origins, and reinforces values like sustainability, equity, and social justice within the industry.

Scholarship Structure and Benefits

Applicants will join a curated cohort of 12 individuals per event, selected for their potential to grow professionally and act as sustainability ambassadors in their respective communities. Each award package includes:

  • Full lodging during the selected event

  • A $1,000 travel stipend

  • Event registration fees

  • Mentorship and connection with a Slow Food ambassador

  • Participation in a Slow Food welcome dinner, designed to build community among scholarship recipients and hosts
