U.S. Embassy in Cameroon Fulbright Foreign Student Program 2026-2027 (Fully-funded)

The U.S. Embassy in Cameroon is now accepting applications for the prestigious Fulbright Foreign Student Program (FFSP) 2026-2027. Established in 1946, this renowned initiative fosters global understanding through academic and cultural exchange. Funded by the U.S. government, the program provides exceptional young professionals from Cameroon the opportunity to pursue graduate-level studies in the United States.

About the Scholarship

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is a highly competitive and merit-based scholarship that selects outstanding Cameroonian candidates for master’s or Ph.D. studies in the U.S. Annually, about 3-5 students receive this fully funded award. Selections are based on merit, availability of funds, and placement at U.S. universities.

What the Scholarship Covers

  • Full Tuition Coverage – All academic fees are paid in full.
  • Round-Trip Airfare – Travel expenses to and from the U.S. are covered.
  • Monthly Stipend – Living expenses, including housing and meals, are funded.
  • Health Insurance – Comprehensive medical coverage is provided.

Grantees pursuing a master’s degree receive funding for a maximum of two years, while Ph.D. candidates are considered based on their program duration. Students in non-degree research programs (visiting researchers) receive support for 9-10 months.
